Absynth 6 Preset Installation:

Windows OS

How To install presets on Absynth 6 (windows) :
1) Open the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Absynth 6\Sounds , this is were you will be installing our preset packs.
2) Open Absynth6 Standalone or in your DAW
3) You can now drag and drop our packs: OS FX Melodic Pack, OS Augmented Voice FX, S2I Dreamers Suite, OS Electron Spin, OS Part Of A Star, S2I Digital Fiction, OS Elementary Forms folders into Absynth 6\Sounds folder. It is recommended you load them one by one, and each time you add one of the packs use the “Rescan Presets” option in Absynth 6 (You can rescan by pressing the 3 dots symbol after the Absynth logo and clicking “Rescan Presets”)
4) Your new presets should now appear in the preset list

– Important:
Make sure you’re accessing the system Library folder, not your personal user library. These are two different locations.

Mac OS

How To install presets on Absynth 6 (macOS) :

To use the preset pack, you need to copy the provided sound files into a specific system folder used by Native Instruments Absynth 6. This folder is hidden by default on macOS. Follow these steps carefully:

1) Open Finder.
2) In the top menu bar, click Go and then Go to Folder… (Or press Shift + Command + G on your keyboard.)
3) Paste the following path into the box: /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Absynth 6/Sounds , this is were you will be installing the preset packs
4) Open Absynth 6 in your DAW or as a standalone app.
5) You can now drag and drop the: OS FX Melodic Pack, OS Augmented Voice FX, S2I Dreamers Suite, OS Electron Spin, OS Part Of A Star, S2I Digital Fiction, OS Elementary Forms folders into this Absynth6/Sounds folder.
*It is recommended you load them one by one, and each time you add one of the packs use the “Rescan presets” option in Absynth 6 (You can rescan by pressing the 3 dots symbol after the Absynth logo and clicking “Rescan Presets”)
6) Your new presets should now appear in the preset list
