RTL-SDR Radio Dreams
RTL-SDR Radio Dreams is a complete software-defined radio module for DevOcean Modular. It brings live radio frequency tuning directly into your patching environment. You can capture and record transmissions straight from the module or route the live signal as a unique audio source within a larger modular patch. Dive into Air Traffic Control, VOLMETs, number stations, HAM armatures, morse codes, digital signals and shortwave oddities – perfect for unique and creative advanced sound design and experimental composition.
Note: This module requires a connected RTL-SDR hardware dongle to function.
Live SDR Control: Adjust Center Frequency, Tune Step, and select Radio Modes (such as AM). Includes dedicated controls for PPM correction and Squelch.
Hardware Integration: Direct interface toggles for Bias-T, Tuner AGC, RTL AGC, Direct Sampling, and hardware Gain.
Built-in Filtering: High-Pass and Low-Pass filters with adjustable frequency and pole parameters.
Onboard Effects: Integrated Pitch Shift, Decimator, and the Air Galactic Reverb unit.
Output & Capture: Built-in output Compressor, master Gain control, and a dedicated Record button for immediate audio capture.
Visual Feedback: Real-time spectral and waterfall display with adjustable zoom and range settings.
Modular Routing: Standard Left and Right audio output nodes for integrating live broadcasts into your workflow.

Installation:
Copy the entire contents of the downloaded “Ocean Swift – OS RTL-SDR Radio Dreams DevOcean” folder to the DevOcean Modular user folder, which resides in the following path:
Mac: /Users/user.name/Documents/Ocean Swift – DevOcean Modular
Windows: C:\Users\Admin\Documents\Ocean Swift – DevOcean Modular
In DevOcean Modular, the module will appear in the registry under “User Modules/User/” as OS RTL-SDR Radio Dreams. The starter patch will appear in the library and the patch selector.
